Sorkka: Toinen jae
27/12/11 || gk
2nd demo from this Finnish death metal quartet. The death metal on offer is of the melodic and catchy variety. The vocals are a bit loud in the mix and the guitar and drum sound is weak, but things aren’t all bad here. There’s potential in the songs and the riffs are catchy with a good melodic sensibility that manages to stay away from blatant At the Gates worship. The songs have some bite to them and with a proper label and production, Sorrka could be a band to watch out for.
6/10 with hope for the future.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
